Sadistic Game

Let's play a game.
One where I have a blade
And you a place to hang.

You run and hide,
I'll chase and find.
What a grand time.

Your blood will drip,
Steady to the beat
Of your fading heart.

With a necklace of rope,
You'll lose the last hope,
As it tightens around your throat.

Hide good,
Hide fast,
It'll be a blast.

Until I find you,
And you breath your last.
Then it'll be game over.

With a puddle of blood,
And a noose,
The only proof.

I've won,
Again,
You didn't stand a chance.

The Shaded Tree

Do you know the shaded tree?
You should come tonight with me.

So that we can dance with the dead,
Before we rest in bed.

Because who doesn't like,
Fear's grip of ice?

And if you play you cards right,
You won't have to fight.

So won't you come with me,
To the shaded tree?

Partners Forever

I watched from the sky,
​Knowing it was my time to die.
​My spirit left my body with a sigh,
​And walked the hill to heaven high.
~
​Her face was broken,​
Her heart shattered.
She stayed beside me,
On that treacherous night.
~
With my final breath,
I wished her the best.
She screamed and cried,
Begging death to take her instead.
~
I walked up that hill,
Head dropped with dragging feet.
If I was finally free,
Why did I feel so empty?
~
With time to think,
I thought of everything
To try and explain
This empty feeling.
~
To no avail,
I decided that maybe,
Some things were better
Left to past endeavours.
~
When I reached the clouds,
I turned back.
She was still beside my body,
Hugging my cold neck.
~
So confused and lost,
Hurting and falling apart,
She stayed there all night,
Welcoming the dark.
~
From now on,
I hope she realizes,
I’ll wait for her
On the other other side.
~
I hope she recognizes,
The thunder as my pounding hooves.
Steadily moving through
The past, good old times.
~
I hope she sees
The lightning
As the part of my soul
Still reaching for her to hold.
~
The rain,
My unshed
Tears,
Bathing the land anew.
~
I want to tell her,
That I have wings now.
Just like the ones she described,
While we galloped the mountainside.
~
I want to tell her,
That she’ll get a pair, too.
When she joins me in this
Hidden paradise of the sky.
~
But I want her to know,
That she can take her time.
Because that broken road she follows,
Blazes a long line.
~
She should know,
I’ll always be waiting.
I’ll never go, ‘cause heaven knows
When two hearts make a soul.
~
And when she finally does join me,
We can fly oh so high.
Partners forever,
In this endless paradigm.
