Unsettling is the quiet,
The unsaid words,
That hang between us.

Unnerving is the distance,
The unrelenting pulse,
Of air that settles around.

Unspoken is the sentence,
On both our minds,
That forbids us to speak.

A silent cue,
In seconds we stand,
In minutes we're gone.

Never again,
Will we see each other,
Or share a friendly conversation.

Firming the wall,
Never will it crumble again,
Standing strong between us.

Forever.

This is sort of a quote but I like it and think it holds some truth.


Bravery is often confused with Stupidity.


It kinda doesn't flow but oh well.

When darkness is all you see, look hard.

See the light that glows on the other side.

Never lose sight of it.

That might just possibly be your only key to life.

The ground creaks,
Cracks like thin ice.

It opens,
Plunging me into unknown places.

Like a maze,
Every turn I take,
I get more lost than before.

The lies and mistakes,
Whispered in my ears,
Make me want to insane.

But if I hold on a bit longer,
My gut tells me there are good things ahead,
Only time will tell, though.

Trembling,
Shivers course down my spine.

The ugly truth,
There all along,
Becomes clear as I struggle to stay strong.

Gone,
Is the happiness I felt,
Every time I saw you.

Replaced,
By betrayal and anger,
Confusion and shock mix in.

Abandonment,
It fills me,
Every part of me consumed.

Running from the past,
Hiding from the future.

Only one wish,
To stay in the present.

Forever.

The ground shakes,
Houses crumble,
Trees bow down.

Screams fill the air,
People run without direction,
Blindly ramming into each other in panic.

Icy calm encases me,
No way out of impending death,
Can my mind find.

Settling in for the inevitable,
The pounding of my heart subsides,
Slipping into a peaceful, eternal slumber.

Living my life,
Wild and Free,
Forever known to the world.

Running through the trees,
Excitement and adventure,
Around every corner.

Never-ending is the raging adrenaline,
Coursing through my veins,
Propelling me forward.

The thrills I seek,
Willingly finding me no-matter what,
Never boring me.

No regrets do I have,
For living my life wildly,
Freedom stands forever.

Do you ever wonder,
What it’d be like to watch
A pool of blood form?

To watch it drip,
At a steady beat
In sync with your heart?

See it splatter,
Spread,
As you fall apart?

Slower and slower
Does the dripping
Become.

As you lose
Grip on consciousness
And your sanity.

As you fall
To an end
Of life.

To a new
Beginning
In darkness.

It grips you
In icy talons
And feeds.

Off every thing
Good in your
Past.

And everything
That could have
Been good in your future.

There is always a price
To pay
For an action.

And you will spend
Eternity trying to
Fulfill your end of the bargain.

It's Our Time

So many deaths,
But to most
They don’t mean a thing.
So many lost,
And to many their sacrifices
Are forgotten.
So much hurt and pain,
And to many,
It is unknown.
So much fighting,
And many do nothing
To help.
Take the wrong side
And win,
But in reality they lose.
When others give
Their lives for
Freedom.
For peace
And change
And reason.
To most,
It’s only another
Death.
Another soul
Battered and bruised
That doesn’t deserve to be.
Most,
Would let them
Sink into abandonment.
Be lost
And forgotten.
Useless.
To the ones that care,
They are a flame burning
Brightly in the dark.
A star shining
Through clouds
At night.
A ray of hope,
To the ones struggling
And being pushed away.
To us,
They were important.
Real people.
Humans.
Friends.
Family.
Their deaths were
Not in vain.
Nowhere near that.
Their deaths are
Fuel to the fire
In the raging battle.
We mourn the loss,
But remember
They’re in a better place.
Safe from the ignorant,
Self centered things
We share the earth with.
Free,
Happy,
And joyous.
We rise
And make a stand
Against the unrighteous.
This is something bigger
Than a disagreement,
Than beliefs.
This is our
Failure to accept
People for who they truly are.
A change needs to take place,
A decision needs to be made,
A life may depend on this.
Will you fight the
Struggle against trans genders
And everything in between?
Or will you sit back
And do nothing, as you watch
Innocent lives fade away?
~ In remembrance of Leelah Alcorn, Zander Nicholas Mahhafey, and everyone else who lost this raging battle against humanity in the flesh, but whose spirits fight along side our souls everyday. Their deaths will not be in vain, and their memory will not be forgotten, yet will give us strength to pursue the right answers ~

Shadows
The shadows,
They dance.

In the corners,
On the walls,
Behind my eyes,
They never stall.

Mocking and praising,
Helping and hurting,
Staying and leaving,
Forever changing.

Ghosts

It’s midnight,
When the ghosts
Come out to fight.
From the graves,
Shrieking cries,
Of hatred and loss.
Past,
Present,
Future.
Stuck forever,
In the nonexistent
Thoughts and minds.
Left alone
To be forgotten,
In an eternity of
Darkness.

Stalker

It's raining,
It's pouring,
The old man is snoring.

The lightning flash,
the thunder crack,
the wind slowly howling.

Creaking,
Cracking,
Cackling.

He holds a knife,
Quite a sight,
While he waits to strike.

See the pills on the shelf?
The blades in the drawer?

Take them.

Leave the darkness.

They are waiting.

A soldier come

There are laughs,

But it's not happy
Or joyful...
It does surround me though.

The voices in my head,
They're menacing
And evil.

They have one job,
A job to tear me apart,
To slowly kill me.

And it's working...
Too fast,
I'm fading, growing weaker.

I don't know how much
Longer I can last.
The struggle is too great.

War

In war, there is no good guy.
In war, we are all bad.
You shoot to kill,
Or hesitate to die.

In war, there is no hero.
Only survivors.
Men who lived to see another day.
Men with barely intact sanity.

Hardened and cold
Is how we see them.
We don't know what they went through.
Don't know the enormity of what happened.

We didn't see comrades die.
We didn't see them die to save us.
Friends who gave their life so we
May continue our fight.

Blood covered,
And lost.
Battle scarred,
And dying.

The bonds they had,
Not understandable to us.
The courage they had,
Unfathomable to our minds.

Minds are numb.
Their lives are gone.
The battles won.
But they fight on.

Doctor Doctor

Doctor doctor,
Where's you're helper?

The one with the mask,
And all the questions to ask.

The stuff that makes me
Feel all weak and squishy.

A Dangerous Game

I want to play,
A dangerous game.
Not for fame
Or screams in vain.

I want to play,
In a place of darkness.
Where only the strongest
Survive.

I want to play,
With creatures of the night.
For the fight,
And the high.

I want to play,
The game of life,
With only a knife,
And plenty of strife.

I want to play,
With only the brave.
The ones who don't need to be saved,
And won't hesitate to put you in a grave.

I want to play
A dangerous game.

Life is a Gift

Put down the blade,
Flush the pills,
Cut the rope.

I'll give you hope,
Be your strength,
Your last thread of life.

You can lean on me,
I will always be here,
Someone for you to confide in.

If need be,
I'll become your home,
Your safe place.

So put a real smile on your face,

And you never have to be.
