The Real Slenderman

Hello, my name is Jeremy Conwell and today I want to tell you the truth about Slenderman. He is not as he seems. When I was 7 I was sent to a counseling specialist for my severe nightmares. I kept seeing one tall skinny man by my door, night after night. I knew that it wasn't a dream though even at that young age. A few years ago I found a website by the name of Creepy Pasta. It told a whole bunch of paranormal stories. Some of them were cheesy and completely fake, but some of them seemed real. One day I found a "Creepy Pasta" about a figure known as Slenderman. I was fascinated at this topic and spent countless hours studying articles about him. After reading dozens of articles about the controversy behind Slenderman I had to know for myself. So me and son went on the lookout for him. My son would be bait, with me very close but hiding. We kept searching and trying to lure him out for months and were about to give up when one day we saw him... He just was there all of a sudden. He grabbed my son's arm, looked straight at me, and then vanished. I stood there in shock for an hour before realizing that he had taken my son. I waited, because that look his blank face gave me. Even though he know eyes I could look into, I knew that I could trust him. And sure enough, about an hour later my son came back to me. His story was a lot different than what I imagined. He had seen heiroglyphics on the walls. They were drawing of hundreds of slendermen on the earth, running and playing just like humans. And then slenderman touched my son's head and my son saw what had happened. Humans had found the Slendermen's home and murdered almost all of them out of fear of their power. Now the few remaining slendermen are being hunted down ruthlessly. They can teleport but even these magnificent creatures can make mistakes. Then slenderman suddenly appeared again, and touched my head. It was 1993 again, and I was in my room. I heard a noise as I woke up drowsily. slenderman was at my door just like I had always told my parents. But I could see more clearly. He had been there protecting me. I saw the world through Slenderman's eyes and saw the wolves outside my house clawing at the door. One minute they were there, the next second they were all dead. He had saved my families life. Slenderman isn't a hunter, he is a protecter. Thank you for reading my story.

Nice post. A good cross between the Slender Man urban legend and the paranormal theory of shadow people, which are the creepiest of entities that can be experienced. However, they're usually there to warn you of a bad event that is forthcoming.

the main reason for slender man kidnapping children under 16 (with the rare occasion of someone older) i think is because he is the spirit of someone that was killed in the woods and he had a stick stabbed into his chest and all his limbs were detached from his body, there are no known reasons for his murder but there are suspicions that he was killed because he was kidnapping children , and when he was killed that his spirit survived and is carrying on his work with the help of a demonic spirit, i personally am a christian and believe that he can not hurt/kidnap you unless you allow him too, i myself just last night had an instance were i was listening to some music on my phone and all of a sudden the music went all static like and that was when i realized that this myth is real and you should not give in to fear because if you do......... he will take you. i think this is what is the real story as i too have had encounters with the slenderman but non like the one you have described. fear is the 2nd most powerful feeling and the most powerfull is love and if ur in love he will not target you this is why he only attacks chidren under 16 because they havent found ther true love yet. therefore he can easily target them because they are vunorable to his fear that he gives us, i have not been scared because i have a great relationship and i love my partner dearly and i believe that this is true, this is the only explanation i can think of. pls tell me what u think because i belive this is true

That was very creepy. I had a shadow person following me around for years. It started when I moved in with a friend. We all saw it as a group and individually several times. Eventually me and my GF had a huge fight that caused us to break up. After several months we got back together, we are married now, and we never saw the shadow man again. We called him the Rag Man because if you saw a glimpse of him and not just the shadow then you'd see a ragged black trench coat. It was all very strange.

That fits with the theory (as you may already know) that shadow people are there to warn you of something bad coming up ahead. So obviously you two got over whatever caused the fight.

I've also heard of their descriptions sounding like they have coats and are possibly wearing a wide-brimmed hat as well.
