The Hellbound Heart is book wrote by the legend himself, Clive Barker! The film Hellraiser, just the first one, was based on this book. Clive Barker is the one who directed the first Hellraiser movie, thus it is the only good one in the entire series of otherwise poorly done rubbish. This epic masterpiece of taboo breaking bliss is a blindingly bright example of why Clive Barker is the master of horror literature. Even Steven King has bowed to his eminence.
