For all we know slenderman wants world domination and in order to do that he must kill off a lot of humans so they are easily controlled. Maybe slenderman is getting rid of the asses on earth to make this a better place. Or maybe slenderman is a apex predator and controls us like a pack of wolves following the alpha.
