I think that the Slender Man could communicate like the Mothman, make inhuman noises that closely resemble what we recognize as speech, but generally it has no reason to.

I can't imagine Slenderman talking (at least not verbally) I'm leaning towards no but I'm not sure.
It's funny that you mentioned Mothman, I just saw that movie for the first time ever just last night.
