| There are several Slender Man based series floating around out there which are not listed on this forum for good reason. These series make no sense and are tedious to watch. Why do these series exist and remain fairly popular? An example of this would be (grabs a name out of a bag*) BeyondTheNeon... | |

| Hey, I agree! I'm trying to keep out those series, mainly because I would rather have only a couple active forums opposed to 20 forums that only have like 3 that get posted in. Everyday, it seems more and more people create their own video series though...I guess it's a good thing, but at the same time there is not always a great success rate | |

| You know how the original star wars trilogy was awesome to watch because everything that happened in it carried substantial significance, but then you get to the new trilogy and it is all political nonsense and love stories, well that is kinda how I feel about Slender Man series like CompileTRUTH and theoutsideagents. They are just long and you find yourself begging for something substantial to happen. | |

| I'm starting to get the feeling about that with Marble Hornets even, because it is slowing up so much | |

| Yeah, I hate to say it, but I agree. I think we are in need of a groundbreaking entry that explains a bunch. | |

| I, personally, have seen many things explained lately. This should probably be posted in the Marble Hornets section, but since the accusation of nothing getting explained happened here then I will post this here. In my opinion Alex is a agent for the Slender Man in entry #44. I think entry #45 takes place before #44. I think that the Slender Man called of the mask mafia from inducting him to their ranks, cuz it looked like they were going to jam a mask on his face, so that he could use normal looking Alex to trick J and call off suspicion from the whole situation in entry #44. then... snatched up... | |

| Makes sense to me. And you're free to post, it's still on-topic in my eyes | |

| What is up with all these Slender Man series that are killing off main characters with minions? Series like Dark Harvest, BeyondTheNeon, theoutsideagents. Even Marble Hornets almost went there. I always assumed a living being was much more useful to the Slender Man. Eat them or absorb there essence or steal there time, what good are they dead? | |

| I agree with you, though Marble Hornets I will defend. Perhaps Marble Hornets has or will do something that has already been done, but they came up with their entire story line before anyone even thought of making spin-offs, and said they would stick by that no matter what came along. If something they do seems old, technically they still came up with it first. | |

| I agree about MH being 1st. I am truly happy that they didn't kill off Alex with the minions. I also agree that many new series don't try very hard so they are no good. Shows like AppleOfOurEye don't really go for it and don't bring anything new to the table while holding on to what makes Slender Man work. Its not a bad series, but where is the story line? We were playing in a park after our 5th episode, that has no build up, and tada* Slender Man. Kinda lame. | |

| Quite interesting if you ask me. I think it's a little strange with the main characters, but it's up to them what they do, so good for them! | |
